Studio membership hours

Open studio hours are from 8a-9p Mon-Wed, 8a-6:00p Thu, and 8a-10p Fri-Sun. Members are welcome anytime during those hours with the understanding that there may be a throwing class or hand building class in session at times which are only open to students who have paid for the class. In this event, studio members are asked to please use one of the rooms where a class is not being held. Equipment not in use for classes would be open to members for use. Classes and/or events will be posted. Required clay/glaze/firing package sold separately below. No outside clay or glazes are allowed.

Pricing

Both monthly membership fees and purchase of CLAY/GLAZE/FIRING packages are required, yet sold separately. This allows members to work at their own pace. - NO OUTSIDE CLAY BODY IS ALLOWED This rule is not arbitrary, it is necessary. Firing a clay body at the wrong temperature could cause major damage to the kiln, so we have to monitor what clay bodies are used closely.

CLAY/GLAZE/FIRING PACKAGE

Laguna BMix cone 5/6

This is a mid fire stoneware clay body that is a porcelain/stoneware mix. No grog. The light color enhances glaze colors. Other clay bodies may be ordered upon request, and the price for a differing clay body will vary.

Fee includes use of glazes, bisque firings, and glaze firings for the 25lbs of clay. Required CLAY/
