Want to work on hand building projects at home without a slab roller? Use thickness strips and a rolling pin on a cloth covered hard surface. These are long enough for a larger project as well as small ones.

This size is good for most small to mid sized projects such as ornaments to mugs. The bare wood resists sticking. Just resist the temptation to clean it and use it in your kitchen afterward. That's a health no no.
